"I know," Foggysky said simply, continuing with her work. "I could tell the first day you came into the Medicine Cat den. But don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Once you get used to StormClan's layout, it'll be hard for anyone to tell that you have...erm, vision issues."Silverstar 00:01, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern made her way out of the nursery fear capturing every hair and organ on and in her body. The queen worried for her weakest kitten, Wrenkit. She had been born rather weak and wasn't waking up now. Would this be the first time she'd lose a child? To a coma that her daughter had sunk into? "Foggysky," the queen called worriedly her voice frantic.

Palefang, although a broken or sprained forepaw, was doing fine since the attack and kidnapping. She wanted to talk with Hiddenstar so bad but didn't know how he'd react to her liking him more than a friend or peer. She caught the yellow gaze of Flyshade who winked and shooed with one of her paws. That meant to talk to him, but did he even want to talk to her? — Minkclaw 00:42, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hiddenstar watched as Shorepebble and Swampgator tackled each other and embraced, murmuring to each other softly in worried voices. So close, so happy...such a good family, something the leader never had...A family. He wanted one now, but as a leader...he couldn't have a family of his own. The entire Clan was his family, but not that kind. So he stepped up onto the rock entangled in the Leader's den, and cleared his throat. " has been an honor serving as your leader, and I must now announce that I am stepping down as your leader...I..It's for personal reasons, really. Swampgator will be a good leader, I know it."

Foggysky picked her way over to the panicked queen, finished dressing Morningwing's wounds. "Yes?"Silverstar 00:47, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing was shocked to hear Foggysky knew all along, but was even more shocked to hear that Hiddenstar was stepping down. Whitetoe blinked. That was surprising. ~Patchfeather~ 00:49, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang watched as the dark tabby spoke. Stepping down? she stood, well about as much as one could on three paws. She looked around hearing the soft murmurs of..confusion.

Hazelfern explained hastily about Wrenkit all the while nearly breaking down. "Will she be okay?" Asked the queen as she led her to her sleeping daughter. One that would never wake up. Wrenlot didn't even stir, barely breathing as her mother looked on with fear and worry. — Minkclaw 00:51, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Foggysky hovered around the kit, going silent. "I....I'm not sure."---- Swampgator's eyes grew round with surprise. "I...I accept, Hiddenstar." He then turned to his littermate, eyes growing soft for his sister who he'd die for. He then took his place beside Hiddenstar on the rock. He needed to pick a deputy now...he already knew who to pick. "I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice. The new deputy of StormClan is Shorepebble." She was hard working, loyal, and dedicated to StormClan to the boot. So why not?Silverstar 01:06, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern's eyes filled with imense pain as she listened to the words of the medicine cat. "Can't you heal her? Your the medicine cat!" She exclaimed growing scared and feared already losing one of her daughters. Why wasn't StarClan helping?! Why were they taking her away?

Palefang watched until the end and hobbled her way to Hiddenstar - er shade. The brown mink molly watched as the chanting ceased for the new deputy. She bowed her head to the former leader and sat down breathing heavily. Her forepaw ached and she knew it'd be a while before she was even out of camp. "Evening," she greeted him with a soft and sort of hello. — Minkclaw 01:12, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Shorepebble blinked in surprise. "I-....I accept!"---- Hiddenshade glanced over to the cat who spoke to him, twitching his tail. "No need for those formal bows, I wasn't royalty in the first place." He flicked his tail over to her paw. "Get that checked out."

Foggysky twitched her whiskers. "I'm the apprentice, to correct you there. And not everything can be cured, Hazelfern. Heart diseases, lung problems, etc."Silverstar 01:14, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern flattened her ears upset at these words. "Why would StarClan do this?" She asked herself growing irritated at the so called starry cats. She watched helplessly as Wrenkit ceased to breath and pressed her nose into the chocolate tortoiseshell kitten's thick fur.

Palefang looked at her paw. "Its fine, I'm just a little sore that's all." She replied. "I'm not used to being..unable to do much of anything." The medicine cat had confined her to camp until it was completely healed and had even put a splint on it. "There's not much more Flameheart or Foggysky can do for my leg anyway." She said. — Minkclaw 01:17, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike saw Wrenkit from the entrance to the warriors den. He pitied the poor kit, and her mother. He remembered his foster parents; Hawktalon and Mistyhollow, who were found dead. They were most likely killed by a fox or something. Jumpstrike had never felt real greif until then. It was one of the worst pains in the world. The thought of his foster parents made him think of who his real parents may be. He sighed. If only he could have met them... remembered them... ~Patchfeather~ 02:57, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern cast her distraught gaze to Jumpstrike before picking up her kitten and leaving camp. The tabby queen made her way through the soft dirt and finally found a small flowery hill. Not far from camp. She quickly buried her deceased daughter. Her claws slid out slowly angrily. If StarClan were real.. She sighed turning to head back to camp. — Minkclaw 04:00, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"Then the best thing you can do is regain your strength." Hiddenshade retired into the warrior's den to sleep and think things through. Shorepebble was already organizing cats, sending the healed to rest, the untreated to the medicine cats, and the unwounded to check camp and the territory out.Silverstar 04:05, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang growled irritated. She hated being confines in camp, absolutely hated it. The brown mink warrior followed the former leader to get nest beside her sister. She squeezed into the nest next to Flyshade and was greeted by her head popping up. "Well what'd I miss?" She asked with a grin. Palefang shrugged. "Nothing, really." She replied.

"Hiddenshade is a warrior now and Swampstarvis leader with Shorepebble as his deputy." She answered yawning. Flyshade's eyes widened. "Wait, what?!" She exclaimed. "That's big. Why'd he step down." Palefang shrugged again. "No idea, something about personal life." — Minkclaw 04:10, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Dusktiger was being treated by Foggysky, helping her a lot all the meanwhile, since she thought his tail was his paw. Poor blind cat, he pitied her, but worried about his brother. His face and ears looked like they had taken a beating.---- Shorepebble shifted nervously, hoping her first orders had been just and good, not looked down upon. She was pretty nervous, but also extremely excited.Silverstar 04:14, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Flyshade sighed and stood. "You rest," she told her sibling before leaving the den. She headed to Shorepebble. "Need me any, deputy?" She asked Talltail following behind his sister. "Yeah, we could use some boredom now. Too much action."

Palefangay on her back in the Warriors' den less the a foot away from Hiddenshade. The pretty warrior cast her gaze at him as his sides fell slowly. She glanced away sighing as her injured paw rest against her stomach. — Minkclaw 04:25, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Bouldersnow trailed off to the medicine den. He'd obtained a few nasty scratches from fighting coyotes, and he needed to get them treated. ---- Birdsoar, who'd also been injured but not as badly, waited her turn. --look me in the eye 07:24, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Flameheart treated cats, very slowly. ---- Darkfrost waited her turn, she'd go last. She had a feeling that whatever was wrong with her would be awful and make all the other cats have to wait. 12:41, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Foggysky, finished up with Dusktiger, moved to Darkfrost to plaster some of the herbs on her wounds, coveirng them with cobwebs. "Anything else? Did I miss anything?"---- Shorepebble flicked her tail towards camp's exit. "We need more cats to secure the borders and ensure that coyote plague is vanquished from our land."Silverstar 13:39, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost paused. "Well... I've been... getting sick a lot lately, and tired." ---- "I can do that," Whitetoe offered, though her muscles screamed in protest every time she moved. ~Patchfeather~ 13:41, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Sparkstorm popped in Foggysky's den, recalling that Darkfrost was now mates with the ruddy tom. Well, that gave her one reason to why Darkfrost may be feeling ill... "Have you eaten anything you aren't supposed to lately? Bad freshkill?"---- Shorepebble flinched in surprise as she heard Whitetoe's voice. "Oh, then you can go along with Flyshade and Talltail if you wish."Silverstar 13:45, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost shook her head. "I don't think so... it's been happening for a few days now, so if it was fresh-kill, I'd think it be gone by now," ---- Whitetoe nodded, and beckoned Talltail and Flyshade with a twitch of her tail and left camp. ~Patchfeather~ 13:50, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"And you don't seem to have a fever." So Foggysky prodded the molly's belly for a bit before twitching her whiskers in amusement. "I knew it."Silverstar 13:53, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"What?" Darkfrost asked, beginning to panic. "Is it bad?" ~Patchfeather~ 13:55, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"Well, if it was me, yeah, it'd be very very bad." She wrinkled her nose in disgust before stepping away, accidentally running into Dusktiger, who grumbled and stalked off. "But for you...well, I guess it depends on how you feel about having kits."Silverstar 13:59, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost stared at the medicine cat in surprise. "I'm going to have kits?" she breathed. She didn't know how to feel. Excited? Scared? She hadn't planned on having kits until she was a little older. But a tiny part of her wanted to scream in happiness. She was going to be a mother! ~Patchfeather~ 14:02, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Foggysky shifted as she felt the dark-pelted cat's stare on her. "Yeah...Are you...Ok?" She tilted her head in confusion. Most Queens were like 'Oh my gosh, yaaay, I'm going to go tell my mate!', so this was a bit...different of a reaction than what she was used to.Silverstar 14:06, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"Yes, yes I am. Thanks, Foggysky," she mewed and slipped out of the den. How could she tell Sparkstorm? ~Patchfeather~ 14:09, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Sparkstorm sat by the warrior's den, prodding the gook Foggysky had put on his shoulder wound. Smelled gross, but if it'd make the pain go away, he'd deal.Silverstar 14:12, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost stalked up to Sparkstorm and settled down beside him and began to groom blood out of his ruddy fur. Now she had to think of how to tell him... ~Patchfeather~ 14:15, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Sparkstorm glanced down at Darkfrost affectionately, cleaning the blood from the fur on her forehead. "You feeling ok?"Silverstar 14:18, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Flyshade hearing that Whitetoe was tagging along smiled. "Alright follow me," she said taking the lead. The smoke mink felt Talltail stare the heard him mutter something about being five seconds older. Flyshade rolled her pale eyes and made her way out of camp with the two following. She sniffed her way to the first border with CaveClan.

Palefang eventually fell into a deep sleep her soft snores rather quiet. The recurring dreams of the coyotes came back. 'She stood in a clearing in the woods. Wasn't it RockClan's territory? The howl of coyotes grew closer as stood there. With fear sprouting in her she took off. Stumbling over rocks, tree roots, shrubs, etc. she came to a cliff and turned to Sunset. He lunged ay at her and- Palefang shot up fear plastered on her face as she breather rather hard. They always came back, but why? She wanted know if Shorepebble or Jumpstrike had any nightmares about this. She glanced at Hiddenshade's sleeping form and quickly made her way to Shorepebble, limping slightly. "Shorepebble, may I speak with you? Alone." She let the fear in her eyes show to one of the clanmates she had been held hostage with. — Minkclaw 15:04, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

(SC doesn't border any clans, they live many hours away. They just have borders where their territory stops) Shorepebble looked up at the molly before glancing at her brother, who was getting his traveling herbs for the journey to get his lives. "Sure, I guess."---- Dusktiger had settled down to eat a bird.Silverstar 15:08, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang led the she-cat to a secluded area of camp. "Do you have..nightmares about Them, the coyotes?" She asked as her heart sped up at the names.

Flyshade knew this Whitetoe wanted to take the lead but the molly wouldn't let her. — Minkclaw 15:13, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Shorepebble blinked. "No, I don't." The deputy did not fear the coyotes, for they had been defeated, and she knew they would never come back after that beating they had received. On top of that, they're leader was dead.Silverstar 15:14, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"But their not the only coyotes out there," the molly said. Palefang hadn't shown she was scared out of her mind, but truth be told she had been scared. Scared for her life. Shrugging this off, Palefang cast the deputy a small smile. "Weren't you afraid?" She asked now. — Minkclaw 15:18, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

"I've patrolled StormClan for many moons, and I know that coyotes are uncommon in the swamps. They were the only pack that I can ever recall." The deputy reassured her with a swift flick of her tail. "And of course I wasn't afraid, I was unconscious a majority of the time on the journey."---- Swampgator had left to get his lives...but boy would he be in for a surprise. There were nine cats for his ceremony, but he really only received three of the lives. He thought he received nine, for all cats gave one, but only three really ever went through.Silverstar 15:21, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang nodded. "I'll leave you to your duties." She murmured. Shrugging off the dream she headed back to the Warriors den. Maybe Hiddenshade was up.

Hazelfern cast her remaining kittens a sad look as she watched them play. Huntingkit was clinging to his sister's, Littlekot, back refusing to let go. "Huntingkit let go of me," she growled. "We're to be made warriors when Swamstar gets back act your age." Huntingkit shrugged off at the mention of their ceremony. "Boy oh boy!" He exclaimed. "I hope I get Shorepebble or any of the good ones." Littlekit snorted. "Well I want Flyshade," she said. "She's a great warrior and a good choice for deputy." The kitten spoke softly. — Minkclaw 15:30, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

(Kindly refer to the Clan's rules, I need a three-day heads up to preform a ceremony. Therefore, it won't be preformed for three days. I work just about every day, therefore I have a very full schedule and need time) Shorepebble leaned back from where she sat, a bit nervous as she recalled that she was now in charge of camp, now that her brother was gone. It was her one time to prove herself...But not like she could do much, the Clan needed to rest and regain its strength.Silverstar 15:35, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

(Oh I didn't know sorry) Hazelfern curled up to take a nap listening to her six month old kittens. Wrenkit just needed a few more days and she would have been an apprentice. — Minkclaw 15:40, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Fur ruffled because he was troubled, Dusktiger rested in his nest, although he didn't sleep. He lay there with his head up, paws tucked under his chest as he stared out of the warrior's den.Silverstar 15:48, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing made his way to his nest, beside Dusktiger and slumped down into it. ---- Darkfrost paused. She should tell him now. "Well... you know how I've been getting sick recently...?" ---- Whitetoe let out an annoyed hiss as Flyshade took the lead, but she didn't complain and kept to the rear of the patrol. ~Patchfeather~ 15:52, August 20, 2016 (UTC)

Dusktiger glanced over at Morningwing, his gaze soft for his brother, his partner-in-crime. "You alright, Morningwing?"---- Sparkstorm nodded, glancing at the dark molly in concern. "Yeah...did you see Foggysky, did she say what it was?"Silverstar 00:30, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

"Yeah... my scratches just hurt..." Morningwing mewed, covering his eyes with his paw. He had always looked forward to his first battle. He could prove a blind cat could fight just as well as any other cat. He had been proved utterly wrong. ---- Darkfrost nodded slowly. "It's... well... I'm expecting kits,' Darkfrost stammered, trying to think of a good way to say it, then just decided to simply say it. ~Patchfeather~ 00:47, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

"Mine too..." Dusktiger finally rested his head on his nest, letting out a small sigh.---- Sparkstorm blinked in surprise, staring at Darkfrost. Kits? His? Theirs? He had always thought she wanted to wait for kits, so soon came to him as a surprise...but it was a good surprise. "Oh...that's...that's good news!"Silverstar 00:52, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost nodded. "Yeah, I suppose it is," she meowed. ---- Swiftfeather went out hunting, the Clan needed to be strong after what has happened. ~Patchfeather~ 12:51, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

Sparkstorm swished his tail against the ground before wrapping it around his paws. "When're you moving into the nursery?"---- Shorepebble, now finished with sending out patrols, rested in the warrior's den, yawning. She was excited to see her brother again when he got back.Silverstar 21:00, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

Swiftfeather returned with a blackbird. He saw Swampstar had returned to camp. He dropped his prey off on the fresh-kill pile and hurried over to greet his new leader. "Welcome back, Swampstar!" ---- Darkfrost shrugged. "Probably not for another moon, maybe," she said, in quite a flat voice. Part of her was excited, but the other part of her didn't know how to react. Was she... disappointed that she was having kits? ~Patchfeather~ 22:46, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

(Wasn't supposed to be back yet, but ok) Exhausted, the leader nodded slowly. "...good to be back."Silverstar 23:01, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

(Oh, sorry! I missread the last post. You can delete it if you want) ~Patchfeather~ 23:05, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

(Nah, it's fine) Sparkstorm nodded, spotting Swampstar returning to camp before he turned back to Darkfrost. "...something wrong?"Silverstar 23:11, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

"Nothing," Darkfrost replied curtly. She didn't want Sparkstorm to worry about her. Getting to her paws, she added. "I'm going to go rest. See you later." ---- "I'll bring some fresh-kill to your den," Swiftfeather told Swampstar. ~Patchfeather~ 23:19, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

"No, I'm fine...I'm fine..." Swampstar responded softly, waving the tom off with a paw. "I ate before I got my lives." His gaze dull, the tired leader trudged into his new den, and didn't even bother changing the nest. He needed sleep.Silverstar 23:59, August 21, 2016 (UTC)

Swiftfeather nodded. He then went to the warriors den. ---- Flameheart had decided he was to become an elder, once Swampstar had gotten some rest. He trusted his apprentice, Foggysky would be a great medicine cat and carry on his path. ---- Whitetoe's patrol returned. There was not a sniff of coyote. Ears flat, Whitetoe marched over to the fresh-kill pile and snatched a sparrow. She carried in to a shadowy spot by the warriors den. ---- Featherpaw woke up in the apprentices den. Her jaw and eye throbbed with pain. ~Patchfeather~ 12:57, August 22, 2016 (UTC)

Ears pricked in interest, Foggysky popped her head out of the medicine cat's den, twitching her nose at the scent of Swampstar. Boy, she wished she could see him!----The noise out of the warrior's den awoke Shorepebble. She poked her head out curiously, only to gasp as she saw her tired brother. She watched him walk away and did not approach Swampstar, knowing he was tired, so she let him rest and returned to her rest.Silverstar 19:53, August 22, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang sighed after several hours of "sleeping" and looked around for someone to talk with or just an activity to do. She noticed Hazelfern's kittens and walked over to the queen. "I could watch them for a bit if you need me too," she said helpfully. Hazelfern's hazel eyes lit up. "Would you?"

"Of ocurae, I'm sure Jumpsttike is free right now. Maybe go for a hunt with him." A gloomy expression crossed her face as she remembered hunting but this leg stopped her from doing much. "Thanks, Palefang." She said before trotting off to find the tom. — Minkclaw 03:50, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike was lazily rolling a pebble around with his paw. His leg felt so much better now that it was treated. Though, it had been left untended for quite awhile, it wouldn't be surprised if it got infected. ~Patchfeather~ 04:05, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern made her way towards Jumpstrike with a small smile. "I was hoping me you could join me on a hunt while Palefang watches my kits?" She asked the tom softly. — Minkclaw 13:59, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike nodded. "Sure," he mewed, slowly getting to his paws so he wouldn't hurt his leg more. "Where to?" ~Patchfeather~ 15:05, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Swampstar slept soundlessly, and a few hours later, woke back up with a small yawn. He had to make some apprentices today...he'd do that right after he ate, because he was absolutely starved now.Silverstar 19:29, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

After she finished with her fresh-kill, Whitetoe dozed in the shadow of the warriors den. ---- Morningwing lay thinking for awhile. The halfmoon was soon; he'd be meeting Frostfire. Hopefully he could slip away from camp long enough. ~Patchfeather~ 19:56, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

The new leader trudged from his den, still a bit sleepy, but much better now. Shorepebble galloped up to him, rubbing against his side. "Swampstar, brother! I missed you."---- Hiddenshade woke up, exhuasted, and noticed Swampstar had returned, so he approached the leader to teach him...well, the leader-ly things he'd need to do.Silverstar 20:02, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Whitetoe awoke to voices close by and realized Swampstar had already returned. She would greet him later, he looked busy at the moment. She let her eyes slip closed again. ---- Featherpaw staggered out of the apprentices den, squinting at the bright light outside. She plodded over to Shimmertail, who was cleaning a wounds along her flank. "Do you think we'll be able to train today?" the brown tabby asked. ~Patchfeather~

"You have ceremonies to preform, no?" Hiddenshade glanced over at Swampstar, the three cats each eating their own piece of prey. Shorepebble was actually seated beside Hiddenshade rather than Swampstar, although she wished to sit beside her brother. She decided she best not get in the way, so the two could talk. "Yes, I do have some." Swampstar replied with a yawn.Silverstar 20:19, August 23, 2016 (UTC)

Shimmertail sniffed Featherpaw's eye and cheek. Without even touching it, Shimmertail felt the heat coming off of it. "I don't think so. You've gotta let that heal up a bit, then we can get a move on."

"Can we at least go hunting?" Featherpaw asked, hopefully. Shimmertail shook her head. "I don't want to risk you bumping those into something. They could get infected easily, and Foggysky already has enough to take care of already." Featherpaw's tail dropped. She felt so useless! "Yes, Shimmertail," she murmured and padded back to the apprentices den, tail trailing in the dust. ~Patchfeather~ 00:38, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

"Then you best go 'en do them." Hiddenshade responded several moments later with a blank expression, as if expecting Swampstar to know so. The new leader flinched in surprise. "O-Oh right, I was just going to eat first, you know, because I was really hungry, and...." Swampstar trailed off as Hiddenshade continued to stare at him. ", right." The leader got up and summoned the Clan.

"Huntingkit, Littlekit, and Fishkit, you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed. From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as Huntingpaw, Littlepaw, and Fishpaw. Your mentors will be Shorepebble, Morningwing, and Dusktiger . I hope they will pass down all they know on to you." With that, Swampstar was finished, and returned to Hiddenshade to speak with him.Silverstar 01:31, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing felt a bit surprised that he got an apprentice. He padded up to Littlepaw and leaned down to touch noses with the little she-cat. ~Patchfeather~ 02:10, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Dusktiger touched his nose to his apprentice, briefly glancing at his brother and grinning. They had apprentices, together!---- Shorepebble touched her nose to her new apprentice's. "Go make you nest in the Apprentice's den."Silverstar 02:14, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Overhearing Shorepebble, Morningwing gave a brisk nod to his apprentice. "Go along with your siblings and make some nests. Then we'll go tour the territory," he puffed, looking as if he had done this so many times before. ~Patchfeather~ 02:18, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Huntingpaw touched his nose, barely, to Shorepebble's and kept his yellow eyes open most of it as well. The black apprentice wasn't very keen on talking with others and even made it clear. Even as a kitten he'd never mingled much, but he liked Shorepebble as a deputy and would hopefully like her as a mentor. Now her energy was another thing, hopefully he wouldn't have to be all smiles and cheery attitude. However, Littlepaw and Fishpaw greeted their mentors with bright eyes and a huge grin upon their faces. The sisters enjoyed causing havoc and would even begin to do so before their training started. As Littlepaw and Fishpaw were told to go make their nests, they cornered their brother grinning. "You know what this means, Hunting?" Fishpaw asked. Huntingpaw's eyes widened with fear and horror. "N-no," he stuttered. "Littlepaw giggled. "Havoc. We will own this place."

Meanwhile, Hazelfern stopped to see her children's ceremony before walking side by side with Jumpstrike out of camp. The warrior closed her eyes letting the scents overwhelm her. "So..anything new with you?" She asked. — Minkclaw 14:28, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

"Besides being kidnapped by coyotes, everything's been pretty fine," Jumpstrike mewed. "I'm so sorry about Wrenkit," he added, thinking back to the poor kit. She should have lived a much longer life. ---- Featherpaw, who had went back to the apprentices den, opened her eyes at the sound of voices. She spotted the three new apprentices. She shuffled farther into her nest, trying to hide herself with moss, not very keen on new friends. ~Patchfeather~ 15:10, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Shorepebble watched her apprentice  go off before glancing over at Dusktiger and Morningwing. "Shall we take them all out together, or split up?"---- Swampstar felt like an apprentice again, getting lessons from Hiddenshade. But he needed them, nonetheless.Silverstar 17:06, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

"I think we should take them out together," Morningwing decided. Once more he remembered that tonight was the halfmoon. It was already sunhigh. What if he missed Frostfire? Perhaps splitting up would save some time... ~Patchfeather~ 18:48, August 24, 2016 (UTC)

Shorepebble nodded. "Alright, let's wait for them to hurry up and make their nests."---- After talking with Swampstar, Hiddenshade awkwardly shuffled off to go hide in the warrior's den. He seemed...oddly nervous about something.---- Swampstar settled down in a little patch of sunlight before looking around and suddenly remembering something. His eyes settled on Whitetoe. "Oh, Whitetoe!"Silverstar 22:40, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Whitetoe jerked awake from her doze. She looked around, trying to figure out who had called her, then she noticed Swampstar looking at her. She rose to her paws and trotted over. "Hi, Swampstar. Uh... great job, becoming leader and all..." she trailed off, realizing how stupid that sounded. ~Patchfeather~ 22:45, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"Uh, uh...." Swampstar blinked, unsure of how to respond. "...Thanks." Sounded good enough. He gave a little jolt of alarm, remembering what he had called her over for. "Oh! How did the patrol go? No coyote trouble, I assume?"Silverstar 22:48, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Whitetoe stood straighter and as still as a rock as she reported. "Not a sniff. We found some clumps of fur snagged in some brush, but besides that, nothing to worry about." ~Patchfeather~ 22:52, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"Good." The leader responded with a small yawn, still a bit tired from his leader ceremony. He couldn't help but to glance over at Morningwing, who seemed a bit...weird. "Morningwing? Do you need someone else to take our your apprentice? You're acting a bit...odd."Silverstar 23:00, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing's pelt bristled. "I'm acting fine. Your acting odd!" he retorted, though he felt releaved. "Fine though, if you think I can't mentor my apprentice," he huffed, turning his head away. He trotted away with his head high without waiting for a reply. He left camp. He'd have to meet Frostfire soon. Whitetoe twitched an ear uneasily. "I guess I could take Littlepaw out..."~Patchfeather~ 23:08, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Swampstar shifted uncomfortably, watching the warrior stomp off before sighing softly. "...score one for great leader Swampstar." He muttered under his breath before looking up at Whitetoe thankfully. "That'd be great, if you are willing."Silverstar 23:12, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Whitetoe nodded. She sat, waiting for the apprentice and her littermates to return. Hopefully she wouldn't be too disappointed her own mentor wasn't going to mentor her the first time. ---- Morningwing quickly marched through the territory. If he was to meet Frostfire, he'd have to start early. They lived far apart. Why was he doing this? it was getting in the way of being a warrior! but still, something deep down nagged him to keep going. ~Patchfeather~ 23:17, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Swampstar went silent after the warrior left, and he rolled onto his back to the middle of camp, but whatever. If it fits, it sits.---- Frostfire, now long out of RockClan territory and in the factionless wasteland, kept walking. Surely, she'd run into Morningwing at some point.Silverstar 23:21, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing plodded on, without scenting, and ran into something furry. He inhaled RockClan scent, Frostfire's. "Frostfire! I didn't even notice you!" he gasped. "Did I hurt you?" ~Patchfeather~ 23:26, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire flinched in surprise as something hit her, for she hadn't been paying attention to where she was walking. "O-Oh, Morningwing, you scared me!" The monochromatic cat let out a little giggle. "No, I'm fine. How 'bout you?"Silverstar 23:30, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"I'm great," Morningwing mewed, kneeded the ground with his paws. "I've got my first apprentice!" ~Patchfeather~ 23:35, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"Aw, sweet!" Frostfire chirped in response with a small grin. "My brother's a warrior now, that's about it for me."Silverstar 23:37, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing purred. "Good for him!" Frostfire's cheerful spirit made Morningwing's rise a little. "We were attacked by coyotes, but we fought them off," he meowed, not notices he was giving away Clan secrets. ~Patchfeather~ 23:43, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire's eyes grew round with surprise. "Coyotes?! Is everyone alright?" The worst thing she had ever fought was..well, nothing.Silverstar 23:45, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded. "I got these cool scars," he pointed with his tail to his face, proudly. Though he got them while cowering beneath a coyote. ~Patchfeather~ 23:47, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"Don't they hurt?" Frostfire asked sorrowfully, curiously sniffing his wounds. "That must've been terrible!"Silverstar 23:58, August 27, 2016 (UTC)

"Yeah, they hurt. But it's not as bad as getting your tail chopped off. I think," Morningwing mewed. "Anyway, what do you want to do? we can hunt if you want." ~Patchfeather~ 00:24, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire couldn't help but to shiver at the thought. "That'd suck, losing your tail..." Tree-climbing would probably be near-impossible, at least for her. Energy quickly pulsed through the young warrior, thinking of all the exploring they could do in this unknown territory. "Ooooh, yes please!"Silverstar 00:40, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

"Okay," Morningwing paused, an idea sparking in his head. "How about we go off alone to hunt, then return here, in... I suppose ten minutes, and see who's caught the most prey. Whoever has wins." ~Patchfeather~ 00:45, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire bounced on her paws. "Sounds good to me!" She couldn't help but to grin. "And then after that, we have an eating contest."Silverstar 00:53, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing cheerfully waved his tail in agreement then raced off, senses alret for prey. ~Patchfeather~ 00:58, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire pelted off in a different direction before slowing her pace to walk soundlessly, tasting the air for prey.Silverstar 01:00, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing caught the scent of a vole. Carefully, he crept through some bracken. He felt the movements of the vole in his whiskers. He stalked and killed it with a nip to the neck. ~Patchfeather~ 01:12, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire lowered herself to the ground as she caught sight of a blackbird, curiously pecking at a worm digging in the ground.Silverstar 01:14, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing sniffed out a mouse, but missed it, stepping on a twig. He hissed and carried on scenting the air. ~Patchfeather~ 01:37, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

The tortoiseshell stalked the clueless bird very slowly, body balanced and steps silent. She tensed, and then sprung, only to miss and scowl angrily.Silverstar 01:39, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing failed to catch more prey by the time came, he trotted back to where he met Frostfire with his vole. He settled down and waited for Frostfire. It was so fun being with her! If she was in StormClan, he'd bet they'd have fun all the time. ~Patchfeather~ 17:06, August 28, 2016 (UTC)

The land was slightly forested, but the ground was also damp and muddy where Frostfire was hunting, slightly similar to StormClan's terrain...thus making it difficult for her. In the end, she returned to Morningwing empty-pawed with her head bowed in defeat, coat smeared with mud. She felt like a worm...but it kind of amused her.Silverstar 12:08, August 29, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing felt fanitly surprised that the blind cat won a hunting contest. "We can share it," he suggested. "Then what do you want to do?" ---- A few sunrises before, Darkfrost had moved to the nursery. Her kits were due anyday now. ---- Flameheart was sorting through some berries when a pain in his chest stopped him. He struggled for breath and collasped on the ground, fighting for breath, but he couldn't breath. ~Patchfeather~ 13:45, August 30, 2016 (UTC)

"Sure!" Frostfire then thought for a moment. It seemed like she had already forgotten that she lost. "We could always..." She trailed off, trying to think of something to do. "Well, since it'll be pretty stupid to travel all the way back home without any sleep, maybe we could make a huge and cozy den? We could collect a bunch of fluffy feathers for our nests. Two nests, not one."---- Shorepebble had gone out on a patrol with Dusktiger and Hiddenshade, and she returned looking quite tired.---- Foggysky was sleeping, and heard something fall over.Silverstar 01:25, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded. "That sounds like a great idea!" he mewed. For the feathers they needed birds. "Let's go find some birds to murder!" he meowed, scenting around for some birds nearby. ---- Flameheart stopped breathing altogether and fell limp. ---- Darkfrost felt a tiny pang in her belly but shrugged it off. It was probably nothing. ---- The next day, Whitetoe padded over to Swampstar's den. "Swampstar? are you in there? would you like to go hunting?" ~Patchfeather~ 01:32, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

"Sounds good!" Frostfire replied with a grin, skipping off to go track down some birds and kill them. Guess they weren't eating Morningwing's catch, but birds sounded more tastey anyways.---- Foggysky flicked her ear, blind eyes moving at random. "Flameheart? What was that noise?"---- Swampstar lazily rolled over in his nest. "...Hmm? Oh, sure, sounds like a plan."---- Shorepebble was starting to feel extremely ill, and decided she'd check in with Foggysky later.Silverstar 01:37, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing stopped after a while of walking. He flicked his tail toward Frostfire. "Up there!" he announced, nodding toward a branch above there heads. A nest lay up there. He wouldn't dare set paw in that tree. He'd fall and break his neck. "Think you can get them?" he challanged. ---- Whitetoe paced impanitly for Swampstar. It was morning. She was super active at the crack of dawn and if she wasn't doing anything she thought she'd die. ~Patchfeather~ 01:41, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire beamed before nodding quickly. "You bet!" With that, she clung to the base of the tree before heaving herself upwards.---- With a lazy yawn, Swampstar stalked out of his den, gazing down a the black warrior. "Anyone else you want to bring?"---- The lack of a response made the hairs on the back of Foggysky's neck rise. She rose to her paws, nervously poking around the den to find her mentor.Silverstar 01:50, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing waited, sensing where Frostfire was in the tree with his whiskers. She was pretty fast. ---- Whitetoe paused, kneading the ground with her paws, until her fiery gaze fell on Swiftfeather who was stuffing his face full of blackbird. He was almost done so eh. "How about Swiftfeather?" she asked, loud enough for the young warrior to hear, he paused and swallowed his massive mouthful. With a gasp, he pelted over. "I heard my name, what can I do?" Whitetoe narrowed her eyes. "Patrol." Maybe he could go somewhere else while they hunted. She was not fond of the warrior, why had she even called him over? ~Patchfeather~ 01:55, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

The tortoiseshell's throat tightened as she felt her hind claw unhook from the tree bark, but she quickly scrambled to get it fastened back into the tree. Once she felt safe, Frostfire continued to climb.---- Swampstar watched as the warrior made his way over before he nodded slowly. "...sounds good, this should be enough cats to go hunting."---- Foggysky stiffened as her nose poked a cooling body...and it smelled of Flameheart. She knew it then and there that he was dead, but she was too shocked to react.Silverstar 02:02, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing's heart lurched when Frostfire lost her grip, but relaxed slightly as she continued up the tree. "Be careful!" he couldn't help but mew. ---- Whitetoe nodded and pounded excitedly toward the camp entrance with Swiftfeather slowly following. ~Patchfeather~ 02:08, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

"I'll be fine!" Frostfire chirped over her shoulder before she pulled herself onto the branch with the nest. She moved silently, eyes on her prey.---- Swampstar sauntered after the two warriors, his gaze cool.---- Shorepebble, unable to bear this gross feeling any longer, poked her head into the Medicine Cat den. "Foggysky...?-" She then paused, the deputy gazing down at Flameheart's body in horror.Silverstar 02:14, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing kept his ears pricked toward Frostfire and went to the roots of the tree, where some moss lay thickly. He carefully ripped some up. ---- Swiftfeather padded away alone. He wanted to test out his senses without anyone distracting him. Whitetoe flicked her tail. "So hows being leader been so far?" Whitetoe started some small talk with Swampstar, pausing every few heartbeats to scent the air. ~Patchfeather~ 03:24, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire stalked forward slowly, her pawsteps inaudible as she moved towards the nest. The birds were actually sleeping, to her surprise, so she quickly broke their necks. Two birds, perfect source of feathers!---- Swampstar kept his eyes peeled, constantly searching the horizon to make sure there were still no coyotes lurking about. "It's been fine, not too stressful yet."---- "I just...I-I heard something fall, and then I just...found him like this..." Foggysky's foggy eyes were round with disbelief, despite them being sightless. Shorepebble gently touched her nose to the young molly's ear in a comforting manner. "He was getting old...he could've had a heart-attack, or secretly been ill." The Medicine Cat slowly nodded in agreement before turning towards the deputy slightly. "You came in my den for a reason, no? What do you need?"Silverstar 16:11, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing returned from the roots covered in moss, head to toe. ---- "Good," Whitetoe murmured, scenting vole, she crouched over to the roots of a tree and spotted it. She wriggled and pounced on it, killing it with a quick nip. ~Patchfeather~ 16:28, September 1, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire leaped down from the tree after she climbed so far down, only to glance at the tom and giggle. "Nice look, Mosswing."----Swampstar ceased his movement, idly watching Whitetoe catch the vole. "Nice catch."---- The deputy shifted uncomfortably as the pale medicine cat circled her. "I...haven't been feeling well, I'd like you to give me a check-up." Shorepebble responded hesitantly, stiffening slightly as Foggysky approached her, poking her with her paws before flattening her ears. "....Ohhhh dear."Silverstar 02:00, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing flicked her ears with his tail. "Great catches, they are perfect!" ---- Whitetoe dug a tiny hole under the tree and buried the mouse, then padded back over to Swampstar, tail held high. "Your turn!" ---- As the day went by, the Darkfrost's pain grew worse, to the point she couldn't ignore it anymore. Maybe she should get Foggysky? Nah. ~Patchfeather~

Frostfire let out a soft purr. "Thanks! Shall we de-feather them and then eat 'em?"---- Swampstar let out a soft sniff. "Just you wait." He responded with the slightest hint of playfulness before he stalked off.---- Sparkstorm rested in the warrior's den, but for some reason...something in the back of his head kept yelling at him to check up on Darkfrost. Why?---- The deputy narrowed her eyes sharply, and uncommon gesture for her. "What is it?" She said in almost a snappy voice, Foggysky quickly snapping her blind eyes up at Shorepebble. "...I-I'm not breaking the news to your brother, y-you can!!" With that, the Medicine Cat ran away.Silverstar 14:55, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded and shook the moss off him. When Frostfire mentioned 'eat' he remembered his vole. Oh well. "Where should we make the den?" he asked, as he plucked feathers out of one of the birds. ---- Whitetoe watched the leader with a mockful snort. She followed quietly. ---- Darkfrost than began to think it was a bad idea to not get Foggysky. She got  to her paws, but with a gasp of pain, fell back into her nest. Terror surged through her. She couldn't walk! The kits must be coming! She opened her mouth the call for help but she was so frightened the words seemed to be stuck in her throat. ~Patchfeather~ 15:18, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire let her aqua optics search the terrain. "Maybe in one of those big trees?" The trees that dotted the terrain were massive, and one had a big hole in it from growing up weirdly.---- Swampstar walked silently, tasting the air before pricking his ears as a robin landed not too far away.---- Sparkstorm stiffened as this voice in his head shouted even louder at him to check on his mate. Eventually, he gave in and trotted swiftly over to the Nursery. "...Darkfrost...?"---- Shorepebble fluffed out her pelt in worry. "H-Hey, Foggysky, come back! What's wrong with me? What do you mean by breaking the news to my broth- oh dear." Then, it hit her.Silverstar 15:33, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded, though he had no idea what the tree looked like. "That sounds good, you lead." He stuffed his mouth full of feathers, ready to move. ---- Darkfrost's pelt flooded with relief. "The kits are coming!" she yowled to her mate, barely more then a whisper. ---- Swiftfeather couldn't find Swampstar and Whitetoe's scent trail, so he returned to camp with a starling, squrriel, and mouse. He deposted them on the fresh-kill pile, thinking it was weird for a squirrel to be in the territory. ~Patchfeather~ 15:40, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

"Alright then," Frostfire trotted off towards the tree before plopping the bird on the ground.---- Sparkstorm's hackles raised, his eyes growing round in surprise. "I-I'll go get Flameheart or Foggysky!" With that, he swiftly turned and pelted into the den, practically crashing into the deputy. "Shorepebble, where's Flameheart?!" Shorepebble looked down at the ground. "...Dead, Foggysky heard him randomly fall over. Foggysky's inside, though."Silverstar 15:43, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing carried the feathers, and placed the moss on his back. The two cats made a nest in the tree. "How was life before returning the RockClan?" Morningwing asked, once the yhad finished. ---- Darkfrost kneaded the moss uneasily and gritted her teeth when some more pain gripped her. ~Patchfeather~ 15:51, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire slowly flattened her ears at the memories. " was actually pretty...awful. I was adopted by a random queen they pulled in, just for me." She looked at her paws dully. "...Shadowsong found me, and although she didn't nurse me, tended to act like my mother...but I never felt like I had a family."---- Sparkstorm nodded, despite being confused as to why Shorepebble seemed so...down. "Foggysky! Darkfrost is kitting!" Foggysky raised her head in surprise before quickly grabbing her needed herbs and running outside...and into the warrior's den, where she prodded Dusktiger's belly. "It'll be over quickly, Darkfrost, don't worry." She paused. "...but I don't feel any kits?" Dusktiger flattened his ears. "That's probably because I'm a tom!"Silverstar 16:00, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing flattened his ears. "I'm sorry. Shadowsong sounds like she was nice. It was a bit like that when I joined StormClan, expect I wasn't completely alone, since I had my brother and Clanmates with me." ---- Darkfrost quickly looked for something to bite on. She spotted a thick twig. At least it was better than nothing. She quickly bit down when another ripple of pain struck her. ~Patchfeather~ 19:29, September 2, 2016 (UTC)

"I never got  to know my my brother 'til not too long ago...Learned about my parents that same day." Frostfire responded with a small sigh. "But you're the one who told me about them, so you obviously know that."---- "That's the warrior's den, not the Nursery!" Sparkstorm didn't hesitate to grab Foggysky by the scruff and drag her over to Darkfrost.---- Shorepebble shifted nervously, angling her ears towards the Nursery. She'd have to go through that?Silverstar 02:10, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing didn't say anything, not knowing how to reply. After a moment, "I'm sorry about that. It sounds awful..." eh, at least he tried. ---- Darkfrost let out a quick sigh of relief when Foggysky appeared, being dragged by Sparkstorm for some reason. "I think one of the kits is almost here!" ---- Shimmertail pricked her ears toward the nursery. Darkfrost must be kitting. She noticed Shorepebble staring at it, looking a bit strange. Shorepebble's seen kits born before, why was it so disturbing now? She decided to go over. "Is... something wrong?" ~Patchfeather~ 12:24, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

"Well, the past is the past, no?" Frostfire shook her head slowly before prodding the dead bird with a paw. "...we should probably start making these nests now. Before the smell of these birds attract a fox or something."---- "Sorry we're late...uh, Dusktiger...Foggysky thought he was kitting." Sparkstorm replied flatly, nudging the blind Medicine Cat over to Darkfrost. "Sounds like you got a stick already, so....well, just push, then." Foggysky directed before sitting down awkwardly.---- Swampstar slowly stalked the robin, only to flinch in surprise as it was struck and killed by a snake. Well, two in one, who'd argue with that? So he pounced on the snake and killed it.---- Shorepebble flinched as Shimmertail spoke, and she swiftly turned awy. "Nothing."Silverstar 16:25, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded without a reply. Getting to his paws, he grabbed some moss and padded toward the tree. ---- Darkfrost didn't reply, she bit down on the twig as another pang struck her. ---- Whitetoe watched Swampstar with unblinking eyes, trying to hold back her surprise. ---- Shimmertail blinked in surprise. It was clear something was wrong. "Are you sure?" ~Patchfeather~ 17:37, September 3, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire settled just outside of the tree, picking the feathers off of the birds.---- Sparkstorm's fur rose, worried for the sake of his mate. Foggysky could sense his worry, so she nudged him outside.---- Swampstar gazed down proudly at the snake and robin before picking the two of them up.---- Shorepebble turned away once more. "...Positive."Silverstar 01:48, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing made a giant nest of moss in the tree. Some of it was damp, but it was still pretty nice. Though he could not see it, he was very proud of it. ---- Darkfrost had one kit, a ruddy colored tom, looking much like his father. It was the worst pain she ever felt. "Is there only one?" she weakly asked the medicine cat. Please let there be! ---- "That's pretty impressive," Whitetoe mewed curtly, flecking her tail towards the snake and robin. "but you could have been a bit more graceful with the landing," she mewed, sarcasticly. ~Patchfeather~ 02:00, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

(waitwaitwait, shore's having kits? :o) Willowspirit's ears flicked towards the nursery. Good. StormClan needs more warriors. ---- Birdsoar hinted with Bouldersnow. --look me in the eye 02:03, September 4, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern sat inside camp her gaze on a mouse she had been saying she'd eat but hadn't done yet. The tabby molly glanced up to look for Jumpstrike. Since going on the hunt with him after her kittens were apprenticed she couldn't stop thinking about him. — Minkclaw 15:56, September 6, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike padding into camp back from patrol and slowly slumped down. He'd have to take Dewpaw out sometime soon. His injured leg was still healing and he'd been only allowed to do small tasks, let alone training an apprentice. ~Patchfeather~ 17:29, September 6, 2016 (UTC)

(oh yes, and it gets even better, trust me) As Morningwing made the nest, Frostfire busied herself with perfectly placing the feathers...Not on the nest, of course, rather, she put them neatly behind Morningwing's ears. Oh, he looked simply fabulous.---- Foggysky poked around Darkfrost, mistakening her neck for her belly, before she quickly corrected herself and found the queen's belly. "...Actually, feels like you got one more in there."---- Swampstar let out a soft snort. "I was made a warrior not for my gracefulness, I'm not a deer, I'm a powerhouse." He flicked his tail before proudly marching on.---- The silver tabby deputy retreated into the warrior's den before squeezing her eyes shut. No, this couldn't possibly be happening...would the father have the guts to even stand up, and tell Swampstar that the kits were his?---- Hiddenshade noticed that the new deputy seemed distressed. Duties? Perhaps he could offer some advice? He saw her brush on by, and knew that it was something more...something he should probably back out of...seemed like she-cat things.Silverstar 21:25, September 6, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing flicked his ears, which felt prickly and warm. He gathered some feathers and stacked them on Frostfire's head. "Perfect." --- Darkfrost pushed awhile more until she had another kit. Thank StarClan that was over! She looked down at her kits with tired eyes as they suckled. She turned her head away and closed her eyes. From what she heard most queens would feel a surge of love for their newborns. Was it bad she felt nothing? ---- Whitetoe let out a snort of laughter and followed the leader. ~Patchfeather~ 22:08, September 6, 2016 (UTC)

"Morningstar and Froststar, leaders of FeatherClan!" Frostfire said proudly before raising her chin and grinning.---- Foggysky could detect that Darkfrost was finished, so she called Sparkstorm in. The ruddy tom eagerly approached his dark-pelted mate, his glowing with great warmth. "They're so...small."---- Swampstar continued with his hunt, before noticing that it was getting a bit late. "Ready to head back?"Silverstar 01:01, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing purred with amusement and made a leap for a branch close by. "Let all cats old - ah!" he was cut off when his paws scompletely missed the branch and he went tumbling to the ground. ---- "Well, they're kits, what do expect, hulking badgers?" Darkfrost asked dryly. --- Whitetoe nodded. "Your a great hunter, but what about a runner?" she mewed, crouching down. "How about a race back to camp, and we'll see who's the fastest?" ~Patchfeather~ 02:28, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire twitched her whiskers before trotting towards the fallen tom, poking his side with a paw before laying on him with a soft flop. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join beneath the High Tree to make a dog-pile on Morningstar!"---- Sparkstorm couldn't help but to twitch his whiskers in amusement. "Well no, but....I don't think I've ever seen newborn kits before, at least I don't recall ever doing so."---- Swampstar knew he wasn't a great runner, but he wouldn't back down from a challenge. Pressing himself against the ground, the mighty leader lashed his tail. "'re on!"Silverstar 02:36, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing flipped Frostfire over with a sudden grunt of effort and flopped down on her. "No! FeatherClan, gather a dog-pile on Froststar! We're the only Clan with two leaders," he pointed out for no reason. ---- Darkfrost flipped her tail tip as a reply. "What should we name them?" she asked. She poked a ruddy tom with her tail. "Maybe Emberkit?" ---- Whitetoe wiggled. "Three... two... one... go!" she yowled before exploding off toward camp at an unexpected speed, her paws splashing through the marshes, and her pelt and face already bathed in mud. ~Patchfeather~ 03:03, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Palefang yawned as she exited the Warriors' den. Her leg had healed somewhat completely and she'd finally been cleared to hunt. The brown mink walked up to Hiddenshade lashing her tail. "Care to join me on a hunt?" She questioned.

Hazelfern kept her gaze low as she eyed the dark tom. She didn't understand, did he not like her? The tabby sighed as her son came up to her with a squirrel. Talltail curled up in his nest. — Minkclaw 14:49, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike picked up a vole from the fresh-kill pile. He saw his friend Hazelfern and padded over to her. "Mind if I join you?" ~Patchfeather~ 14:53, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern looked up with wide hazel eyes. "No, not at all," she replied. Huntingpaw eyed the tom his mother seemed to like. "I'm gonna go take a nap," he muttered softly licking her shoulder before leaving. — Minkclaw 15:54, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

"So hows your day going?" Jumpstrike asked, waving a good-bye with his tail to Huntingpaw. --- Featherpaw's wounds from the coyote attack were nearly healed, though she had a shredded ear and a scar across her eye. She'd be back training soon. Upon hearing an apprentice coming into the den, Featherpaw buried herself in moss to hide from them. Though half of her body stuck out, she tried to evenly spread the moss over her.  ~Patchfeather~ 16:23, September 7, 2016 (UTC)

Hiddenshade looked up in surprise as Palefang approached him. He flashed her a small grin. "Oh, sure."---- Sparkstorm's eyes softened for his little mini-copy. "I like that name..." He glanced over at the other kit, a little female who was black, but lightly dusted with silver. "...Maybe a Shadekit?"---- "Yeah, but we're still the bestest Clan." Frostfire pointed out while flailing underneath Morningwing as she lay flat on her back.---- Swampstar pelted after Whitetoe upon hearing 'go', pushing off with his powerful hind legs and leaping unusually gracefully like a deer.Silverstar 01:51, September 8, 2016 (UTC)

"That sounds good for her," Darkfrost murmured, glancing at her two kits. Emberkit and Shadekit... ---- Morningwing slid off Frostfire and rolled in the leafy forest floor. Thank StarClan the ground wasn't marshy! ---- Whitetoe slipped in the mud and partly skidded, partly ran, and partly fell down a gentle slope. She regained her footing and began racing again. Now you'd never even know what her pelt color was. ~Patchfeather~ 02:40, September 8, 2016 (UTC)

Sparkstorm nodded before giving his mate a small smile. "Sure does..." He licked her forehead gently before trotting outside. "I'll let you rest now."---- Frostfire purred, laying on her back with her tail lashing playfully, gazing up at the green trees.---- Swampstar too, slipped, but things ended up...much worse for him. He lost his footing completely, rolling down the hill and landing terribly: kinking his neck oddly.Silverstar 11:21, September 8, 2016 (UTC)

Darkfrost didn't reply. She was worried; why didn't she feel... protective, all the other stuff about these kits? Sure, she liked them... kinda... ---- Whitetoe heard something fall behind her. She made a u-turn and went back up the slope, at a trot. "Swampstar?" she called. She didn't know if that was him, maybe a coyote, or all of the above. ~Patchfeather~ 12:51, September 9, 2016 (UTC)

Hazelfern purred as she watched the black apprentice leave. "How are you?" She asked Jumpstrike. — Minkclaw 14:23, September 9, 2016 (UTC)

"I'm good. My leg is nearly healed, I should be able to take Dewpaw out taining again," Jumpstrike mewed, glancing down at his scarred leg. "What about you?" ~Patchfeather~ 14:29, September 9, 2016 (UTC)

"Just bored, really." She told him. The tabby molly glanced up to see Littlepaw talking with Dewpaw. Hazelfern glanced back at Jumpstrike sending him a smile. — Minkclaw 16:07, September 9, 2016 (UTC)

No response came from the leader, for he was losing his first life after breaking his neck from the fall.---- Frostfire eventually rolled over, glancing over at Morningwing. "Should we make those nests now, Morningstar?"---- Shorepebble sat down uncomfortably, impatiently awaiting her brother's return.Silverstar 16:59, September 10, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike purred. "Maybe you'd like to join me on a hunting patrol? we can take a couple of the apprentices, if their mentors agree." ---- Morningwing nodded, getting to his paws and shaking leaves from his fur. "Lead the way, Froststar." ---- "Swampstar?" Whitetoe called again, now knowing something was very wrong. She climbed up a slight rise and then spotted Swampstar's form, lying motionless in the mud. She scrambled down the rise to his side. She studied him. His neck looked like it was twisted awkwardly. He must have broken it. He would revive soon, he had nine lives. She settled down beside him, and began to groom some of the mud out of his fur, waiting for him to wake. ~Patchfeather~ 17:26, September 10, 2016 (UTC)

"We're right in front of the tree, Morningstar!" The pale tortoiseshell gently hit him in the side with her tail. "We just need to remove our lovely feather decorations from our fur."---- Swampstar was quick to pop back up, his neck fully healed and...functional. He looked a bit dazed. "Huh...that was odd, I only saw three of the cats who gave me my lives...must be on break, or something?"Silverstar 21:03, September 10, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing nodded, then stuck his whiskers in the air. He felt something large, close to him. He padded toward that and stuck out a paw, hard bark meeting his pad. He dug in his claws and climbed up to the hole. ---- Whitetoe twitched her ears uneasily, wondering if that was bad. "Are you okay? what happened?" ~Patchfeather~ 21:21, September 10, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire watched him in slight confusion before shaking it off and following him into the tree, feathers in her mouth.---- Swampstar rubbed his neck with a paw in agony. "I think I broke my neck...felt pretty gross."Silverstar 21:44, September 10, 2016 (UTC)

Morningwing spread out his feathers by shaking his head and sweeping his tail across the ground. He thought that was good enough. ---- Whitetoe frowned. "This is my fault isn't it?" ~Patchfeather~ 14:35, September 11, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire watched Morningwind and his 'method', twitching her whiskers in amusement. "Is that how they make nests in StormClan?"---- Swampstar shook his head quickly. "No, no it's not. If I could not run like a dog with short legs, I wouldn't have had any issues."Silverstar 02:45, September 12, 2016 (UTC)

"I have no idea how StormClan makes their nests. This is my way of making a nest better," Morningwing replied. Because let's face it, I'm way better than anyone at this. ---- "Let's go back to camp, Foggysky can take a look at you," Whitetoe murmured, twitching her ears. She couldn't shake off the fact that if she hadn't challenged him, he wouldn't have lost a life. ~Patchfeather~

Hazelfern sighed catching the tom's eyes. "I suppose you never really had a mate either?" She questioned. — Minkclaw 03:15, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

"How do you not have an idea of how your Clanmates make their nests? You're a StormClan cat!" Frostfire let out a small giggle.---- He knew that he'd have no further issues, but Swampstar didn't complain, rather he followed the black molly.---- Shorepebble shifted uncomfortably. Blah...she was feeling sick again.Silverstar 11:19, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Jumpstrike shook his head. "No. I've never had one. I hadn't found the right she-cat yet." ---- Morningwing paused. He realized he hadn't told her he was blind. What if she made fun of him? or felt sorry for him? or didn't want to be his freind anymore? He took a quiet deep breath. He had to be honest with her. "I've never seen them before, Frostfire. I'm blind." ---- Whitetoe led the way into camp, the whole walk home she kept checking to see if Swampstar had fallen behind. She was pretty sure he was fine now, but she couldn't live with herself if something terrible happened to him. ~Patchfeather~ 12:43, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Frostfire's aqua optics widened in surprise, guilt spreading throughout her body. "O-Oh, I'm sorry..." She backed away slightly, shuffling her paws and drifting into silence. "...I didn't know, I just hope I didn't make you feel bad or anything...but that's gotta be pretty cool though, r-right? Can't you hear a lot better than others?"---- Swampstar trotted after Whitetoe, pushing his way into camp.Silverstar 20:04, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Whitetoe paused. "I should go fetch that fresh-kill we caught. I'll be back in a flash," she grunted, then darted out of camp. ---- Morningwing flicked his tail. "Don't worry it's fine. And I can hear really well, and scent good, it makes up for not having sight." although he said it as if it wasn't a big deal, he let out a inward sigh of relief. Frostfire didn't seem to mind. ~Patchfeather~ 20:17, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

SWampstar nodded. "You go do that....just...don't go breaking your neck."---- Frostfire nodded, prodding the nests with a little paw. "You seem to move about quite well for a blind cat. Were you born that way, or did you get into an accident?"Silverstar 21:21, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

(when you have the chance, can Featherpaw be made a warrior?) Morningwing shook his head. "No, I was born this way... my whiskers, scent, and hearing guide me instead. I only have trouble fighting, besides that, I'm like any other cat." --- Whitetoe scouted out the prey, snatched it up and trotted, carefully back to camp. ~Patchfeather~ 00:16, September 18, 2016 (UTC)

(yeah, I'll do it now) Swampstar decided 'heck with getting my neck checked', and held a ceremony instead. "I, Swampstar, leader of StormClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn. Featherpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do."

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Featherpaw, from this moment you will be known as Feathersong. StarClan honors your determinationand wisdom, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StormClan."

Frostfire nodded slowly. "Bit sad that you never got to see the beauty of the world..." She gave him a small shove. "But at least you've got better senses than others. Heck, when we're fighting underground or something, you could really kick some butt."Silverstar 19:24, September 18, 2016 (UTC)
